Turbo Jam

turbo-jam-abs.jpg What’s been rockin’ my abs lately?  Turbo Jam!  Chalene Johnson, founder of Turbo Jam, keeps the tempo up and keeps your muscles tight.  You are guaranteed to hurt, but in a good way, the next day.  Her workouts are fast-paced and high-energy.  Check out this clip of Chalene to feel the energy.  I love the counter clock on her videos.  It lets you know exactly how many minutes you’ve accomplished, and how many more there are to go.

Master Suite
Posted on May 15th, 2009 at 12:14 PM by Supernatural Botanicals

Good luck talking your husband into this one.   This is an ultra master suite with over-the-top amenities.  That being said, I love it!  I love design, especially bedroom design, but I think I’d feel too spoiled living in that room.  It’s absolute luxury…..squared!  I think that after the recession is said and done, we’ll see a lot less of these grandiose upgrades, but they were fun while they lasted.  Now, it’s just so 2007.

Every year, HGTV gives away a ridiculously beautiful dream house to one lucky winner.  They’ve decided to make it even more fun by giving away a Green House.   It’s gorgeous!  Loaded with plenty of green features and decorated by the fabulous designer, Linda Woodrum.  It’s loaded with plenty of splashes of orange…my favorite color.  I think it’s a sign of some sort!  I’m entering now.  You should tooClick here for your chance to win this sensational green home for yourself!

I love my Bosu Ball and consider it to be one of my best pieces of equipment in my gym.  You haven’t felt squats the way you’ll feel them while on the Bosu.  I’ve learned a second technique in this clip….Bosu Ball Squats.  I’ve done lots of squats for my hamstrings, quads, and glues on the Bosu, but with the ball facing up.  They’ve flipped the ball, platform side up, and now it gives you even more core conditioning.  Love that!

Try these moves on your Bosu.  Don’t have one yet?  You should look into that here.

I thoroughly enjoy mood music, and use it regularly to slow down.  When you feel completely overwhelmed with your day, take some time to yourself, close you eyes, and listen.  You Tube is a great resource to find the music…for whatever mood you are in.  This clip is motivational meditation.  It’s great to quiet the mind and to relax the body.  Feel it now.
