Tea-tree oil is used to treat mild, occasional breakouts.  It is distilled from the leaves of an Australian shrub.  Tea-tree oil contains antibacterial and antimicrobial compounds called terpenoids that help kill bacteria. 

Studies testing tea-tree oil against the gold-standard acne treatment, benzoyl peroxide, have shown that while the latter works more quickly, tea-tree oil is equally effective over time and results in fewer side effect, such as dryness and redness. 

To remove a splinter painlessly, dissolve Epsom salt in warm water, then soak the affected splintered-area in the warm salt mixture.  It will draw the splinter right out.  This works great on kids and adults alike who cringe at the sight of tweezers near their splinter.

• Never pull or drag the skin around the eyes when applying or removing makeup. 
• Use bare minumum of products on your eyes, and stick to natural products.

2 tablespoons of plain yogurt

Puree the kiwi fruit in a food processor until liquid. During processing, add yogurt, orange water, almond or apricot oil, and ground almonds. Process until thick and cream like.  Add essential and stir to mix. To apply, massage gently over neck, face and décolleté to cleanse. Rinse well.  Makes one application.

• 1 cup fresh pineapple
• 1/2 cup fresh papaya

Combating dry skin is a piece of cake,  you just have to know how to do it.  An all natural and inexpensive way to revive your skin is an oatmeal bath.  Use about a half a cup to a cup of plain oatmeal (it can be slow cook or instant…just be sure it’s plain with no added sugars or flavors.) 

The key to an oatmeal bath is to grind the oatmeal into a fine powder.  You can do this by putting the oatmeal in a food processor or blender for about a minute.  When the oatmeal powder is added to warm water, it blends throughout the bath water and is superior in coating your skin like a silicone glove.
