Somewhere Under The Rainbow
How often do you see a rainbow this bright and fabulous? (click picture for full size.) Never! Ever! This was taken 24 hours ago from my back yard. And while I was simultaneously taking Flip video along with pictures, I noticed this:
Get out! A double rainbow. There’s sure to be treasure at the bottom of that, and since it only seems to be one street over, I had every intention at this point of making my way over there as soon as I was done taking simultaneous video/photos.
And there you have it, the double-bow, right over my house, and the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Surely, this must mean something cosmic. I could barely contain the fabulosity of it all. It was like it knew I appreciated it….and that grew clearly apparent as I was the only loon out in my yard filming and taking pics.
I anticipate having the same emotions if my Casablanca lilies bloom so hearty this year that I can have fresh cut vases of them in every room of my house (because there are only very few things in life better than Casablanca lilies.) I’ll keep you posted.

You did get some great pictures of the rainbow! You must be very close to me; I’m in Lebanon.
It was a truly beautiful rainbow; I needed that moment of peace in the storm to remind me to just slow down a bit, you know?
Nice to meet you! Lovely blog!
I’m actually on the west side of town, about an hour away from you, so that was a big rainbow, huh? ha!
And I thought I was the only one who took pictures in amazement!
Love your blog as well, Writer Mommy!
hugs!
