Reconsidering The Drive Thru

Reasons to cook dinner yourself instead of eating out:
* You can assure your hands are clean when preparring your food. How clean do you think the teenager’s hands are that will make your food at a carryout?
* You can assure your food is fresh. You can’t be sure if the cheese someone is serving you had mold on it or the hamburger was several days old …or even dropped on the floor first.
* You can control how much butter and fat your meal has. In fine dining, everything is made with butter, and lots of it.
* You can check the expiration date on the cream for your coffee if it’s in your own refrigerator. Who knows how often the creamer containers are washed out at restaurants?
* You can keep track every calorie you are eating. With ordering out, it’s a mystery.
