Great meeting yesterday with New Media Cincinnati. There are a handful of social media rockstars here in Cincinnati, and I’m standing next to one of them here.  This is Daniel Johnson, Jr., or, as I call him, DJJ, and he founded New Media Cincinnati.  Visit his site here.

What is New Media Cincinnati?  It’s an informal meet up for people in the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton areas involved with or who have an interest in new media (podcasting, video podcasting, blogging, micro-blogging, social networking, etc.)

If you are in our area, I highly suggest attending the next meeting if you are interested in networking with highly skilled, well-connected people in the industry.

  • It was great meeting you in-person, finally, Robin! And it’s really awesome to see that new media and social media is DEFINITELY not just for guys.

I look forward to keeping in touch.

  • By the way, to hear an interesting take on the way men see personal care products than women, check out episode 114 of my mostly-music podcast, Journey Inside My Mind, at http://journeyinsidemymind.com . You might get a kick out of that!

  • Robin says:

Loved your podcast, DJJ. It’s a great mystery…why do women like many choices, while men are okay with just one bottle of (lotion, oil, shampoo, etc.?) At the end of the day, I think it’s just inner programing.

Now…why do men need so many hours of sports-watching? :)

By the way, I was thrilled with the turn out on Saturday! Go NMC!
