Smart Talk Women
SMART TALK Connected Conversations has presented captivating stories from such remarkable women as Julie Andrews, Barbara Walters, Mary Tyler Moore, Gloria Steinem, Lady Margaret Thatcher, Maya Angleou, Jehan Sadat, Whoopi Goldberg, Erin Brockovich, Lauren Bacall, Susan Sarandon, The Honorable Ann Richards, Goldie Hawn, Priscilla Presley, Anna Quindlan, Debbie Reynolds and Marianne Pearl to name just a few.
Luckily, Cincinnati will be welcoming the incredible Diane Keaton on May 19, 2009 at the Aronoff Center as a part of the SMART TALK series.
Having appeared in over 50 films, including The Godfather, Annie Hall (for which she won an Oscar), Something’s Gotta Give and Mad Money, Diane Keaton is that rare talent whose appeal spans generations – from teens to seniors. In addition to acting, she has transformed her hobby of restoring homes into a serious and thriving business. From mothering advice to tales from an actor and entrepreneur, don’t miss this rare evening with a true Hollywood legend.
Tickets are still available for Cincinnati’s event. Don’t miss this opportunity for a night with Diane Keaton. Click here for ticket information.

I had a great time with the girls over at Cincy Chic. They featured Supernatural Botanicals in their “Go Green” issue.
Cincy Chic is the only online lifestyle publication for women in the Greater Cincinnati area. Each week, this dynamic e-zine publishes a feature story, a fitness Q&A column, a movie column, a “Chic Spotlight” which highlights a newsworthy local woman and five editorial departments in the following topics: health, beauty, fashion, social and career.
This online-only publication was recently honored with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s “Best New Product or Service” 2007 Women’s Business Award. In addition, Cincy Chic’s editor and publisher, Amy Storer-Scalia earned a national Web-writing award from ASHPE in 2007 and a national feature writing award from ASBPE in 2006.
Many thanks to Amy Storer-Scalia and Linda Palacios of Cincy Chic and Neysa Ruhl from Neysa Ruhl Photography for making me feel right at home.

Girlfriendology
My friend Debba is a girl about town. She’s in the know of everything, from networking, social media, blogging, pod casting, fashion, business, all things Cincinnati, and of course, the founder/creator of Girlfriendology and Cincinnati Women Bloggers. Girlfriendology is a great website that celebrates friendships of girlfriends. Debba just went to LA and hung out with Brooke Burke, selected by Frito Lay to help launch A Woman’s World. Check out her home page for pictures and details. You’ll love Girlfriendology. There’s something for everyone there.

New Media CincinnatiGreat meeting yesterday with New Media Cincinnati. There are a handful of social media rockstars here in Cincinnati, and I’m standing next to one of them here. This is Daniel Johnson, Jr., or, as I call him, DJJ, and he founded New Media Cincinnati. Visit his site here.
What is New Media Cincinnati? It’s an informal meet up for people in the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton areas involved with or who have an interest in new media (podcasting, video podcasting, blogging, micro-blogging, social networking, etc.)
If you are in our area, I highly suggest attending the next meeting if you are interested in networking with highly skilled, well-connected people in the industry.
Affectionately dubbed the “babe table” these ladies are a lot more than eye candy. Check them out to see why:
