Wash Your Face

Are you falling in bed each night completely exhausted?  Too exhausted to wash your face before bed?  Sleeping in makeup is considered a Cardinal sin in skincare maintenance.  It blocks your pores, essentially smothering your skin.  It causes the appearance of your skin to look dull and older than it needs to look.

The added benefit, for me, is the aromatherapy aspect I get from washing my face with  Spa Soaps.  Spa Soaps are our best sellers at Supernatural Botanicals….and for good reason.  They smell amazing and give immediate aromatherapetic benefits.  For instance, Grapefruit and Orange essential oils are thought to stimulate the mind and enliven the spirit.   I love washing my face with this.  It’s instantly refreshing.

I also love the fact that I can wash my face with a bar soap and not have to worry about breakouts.  In our clinical study, none of our participants experienced any breakouts whatsoever, and in fact, all noted improved complexion.

Explore our entire line of Spa Soaps at Supernatural Botanicals.  They are so indulgent and delicious!

web-ready-island-coconut-update-july-6.jpg   Island Coconut Spa Soap was our highest selling soap of the summer.  Summer + Island Coconut…makes sense, right?  To our surprise, the sales have remained strong straight through the winter, and now into the new year.   I guess it’s not a summer thing?  And lets face it, smelling good and having great skin is a year ’round thing.

It’s called Spa Soap because everything about it personifies luxury, from the thick hand-cut 1.5 inch soaps to the sensational aromatherapeutic benefits it provides.  I knew this soap was a winner immediately; and after daily use on my face and body, it lives up to its reputation.   Proven in clinical trials not to cause breakouts or dry skin out.   This is a must try!  …believe the hype.

These are our top five sellers at Supernatural Botanicals for December thus far.  Trending is a difficult thing to capture.  We knew that Pomegranate and Grapefruit would sell well in December, but the Island Coconut threw a bit of surprise in the mix.  Many of our Island Coconut lovers are repeat customers.  I must admit, it’s really one of my favorites as well.  The smell is intoxicatingly tropical.  Aromatherapy at its finest!

Our Face and Body Spa Bars are all natural, eco-friendly, and perfect for anyone who wants to get back to basics in their skincare.  Essential oils make the soaps pop to life with beautiful aromatherapeutic scents.   A soap that’s good for your skin….now there’s a concept!   Also, case-study proven not to cause breakouts.

Our Body Butters are amazing!  I rave about these a lot because they simply deseve the praise.  It only takes one use and you’ll know what all the talk is about.  Our special non-greasy formula makes this a must have for beautiful, sexy skin.  It deeply moisturizes skin and is packed with skin-loving ingredients.  Cool packaging allows you to slip one in your purse for on the go moisture anytime.

Our Bath Salts/Sea Salts are wildly popular this time of year….they relive stress!   A nice long soak with bath salts will detox your body, while drenching your skin with beneficial essential oils.

As always, Supernatural Botanicals greatly appreciates your business.  Your feedback helps us to create the products you love.  Keep the emails coming.  For more information, visit our website at http://www.supernaturalbotanicals.com/.  To contact us, email Info@SupernaturalBotanicals.com

What exactly is aromatherapy?  Aromatherapy is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being.  Essential oils, the pure essence of a plant, have been found to provide both psychological and physical benefits when used correctly and safely, from mood elevating to healing.

lavender.jpg   Lavender:  Lavender is used for stress or sleep.  The aroma of lavender has been known to calm and relax the mind.  Lavender has additionally been used for:  Acne, allergies, anxiety, asthma, athlete’s foot, bruises, burns, chicken pox, colic, cuts, cystitis, depression, headeache, earache, oily skin, and vertigo.

grapefruit-blog.jpg   Grapefruit:  Grapefruit is thought to sharpen mental acuity, stimulate thought, and create a cheerful balance.   Grapefruit essential oil is also very beneficial to oily skin, improves complexion, and helps with cellulitis and water retention.  Not to mention, it smells delicious!

orange.jpg   Orange:  Similar to Grapefruit’s benefits, orange essential oil stimulates the mind, evokes a cheerful mood and happiness, and smells amazing.  Orange essential oils are also thought to aid in digestion and clear oily skin.

yylang-ylang.jpg   Ylang Ylang has a beautiful sweet, slightly fruity fragrance.  It has also been used to treat anxiety, depression, frigidity, hypertension, palpatations, and stress.

rose.jpg   Rose essential oil immediately takes you to that place of calm.  Beautiful floral scent.  Rose oil has been used therapeutically to treat depression, eczema, stress, frigidity, and menopause symptoms.

Put some thought behind the scents you choose.  They do much more than make you smell amazing.  They create balance, and submurge you in a zen-like state.

robin-feltner-supernatural-botanicals-pink-grapefuit-spa-soap.jpg   As many of you know, largely do to my incessant talk about them, Supernatural Botanicals is undergoing artistic construction and development of new products.  All of our products undergo clinical studies by many different women, all with different skin types, and we perfect our formularies accordingly.   This soap that I’m holding is Pure Grapefruit Spa Soap.   It’s almost 7 ounces of thick, hand-cut soap and smells absolutely amazing.  These new formularies give you a true aromatherapeutic experience.   In fact, I have sat the Spa Bar down on my desk while I’m typing this and the entire room smells of fresh citrus scent.  Makes you just want to take a bite out of it!

Our clinical study group is raving about these new, all natural Face and Body Spa Bars.  In our study of 30 women (and several husbands), Supernatural Botanicals Face and Body Spa Bars received five stars across the board.   They are super beneficial to promoting healthy skin on the face and body.  We anticipate our new products to go online next week.   Please stop by next week for your chance to win free products from Supernatural Botanicals.

As always, we not only salute you in your quest for gorgeousness, we help you get there!

xoxo, Robin

Asprin Green Tea Mask Recipe

facial-mask.jpg   Skin care routine for combination skin, dry and acne prone, once per week. This is a mask and should be kept on the skin for 10 minutes. It contains aspirin which is a form is Salicylic acid and is great for keeping acne away. You don’t need to crush it. It will fall apart if you put a drop of water on the pill for a minute or two. Don’t use more than one or two aspirins or it will really sting and dry out your face.

One aspirin
Two teaspoons full fat unsweetened yogurt
(can also use olive oil or almond oil)
One teaspoon green tea powder macha tea
One teaspoon honey

Mix it together and apply to face and neck. After 10 minutes you can gently exfoliate your skin with the aspirin bits. You can make a large batch and it will store for several weeks in the fridge.

Thanks to Zoe for submitting this recipe.
