When washing your face, you should cleanse your face for at least one full minute.   Taking additional time to cleanse properly reduces surface oil and debris.  Sebum is really the enemy of healthy skin; if allowed to accumulate, it clogs pores and causes blackheads and acne.

Chamomile tea, brewed and cooled, is a perfect toner for normal to dry skin.  It closes the pores, and makes skin look fresher.  Brewed and cooled Lavender tea is great for sensitive skin and Peppermint or Spearmint tea works best for oily complexions.
